We are excited to announce our new Adult Learn to Race Class. Class meets Thursday evenings from 6-9 PM and Saturdays from Noon-4 PM for two weeks. The first session starts Thursday, August 10th.
Are you ready to put your sailing skills to the test and join the exhilarating world of sailboat racing? The new Adult Learn to Race class introduces sailors to racing rules, race strategy, reading the wind, maximizing boat speed, and advanced boat handling skills in a fun and hands-on environment. Students will participate in practice races and drills to develop racing skills, then compete in Calhoun Yacht Club races on Saturdays.
Sailors can choose to sail in Lasers, 420s, or Ensign Keelboats (if available). Come join us!
